- 3RT7 contactors have passed climatic testing and are suitable for any climatic conditions.
- When the environment of equipment application is different from the standard industrial environment (specified in EN 60721-3-3), it is necessary to consider the impact of the environment on product reliability and service life, and take corresponding protective measures. If necessary, contact Siemens Technical Support.
Adding Auxiliary Contacts
- S00 frame size contactors are integrated with 1 auxiliary contact (1NO or 1NC) in themselves.
- S0 frame size contactors are integrated with 2 auxiliary contacts (1NO + 1NC) in themselves or without auxiliary contacts.
- S2 and S3 frame size contactors have no auxiliary contacts integrated in themselves.
- All frame size contactors can be further equipped with detachable auxiliary contact blocks.
- A maximum of 5 auxiliary contacts can be achieved for S00 frame size.
- A maximum of 4 auxiliary contacts can be achieved for S0/S2 frame sizes.
- A maximum of 8 auxiliary contacts can be achieved for S3 frame size.
- For all frame sizes, the number of normally closed contacts shall not exceed 4.
Motor Reference Power
- The motor power mentioned in the sample is the reference motor shaft output power (according to the nameplate).
Rated Control Voltage
- All contactors have models for AC operation.
Surge Suppression
- 3RT7 contactors can provide RC (resistance-capacitance absorption) surge suppressors for suppressing coil surges.
