SIRIUS ACT Buttons and Indicators
- SIRIUS ACT adopts a modular design, which consists of button heads, indicator lights, contact modules installed on the back of the panel, and LED modules. For the most common application conditions, it can provide complete sets of buttons and indicators composed of button heads or indicator light heads, as well as contact modules and/or LED modules.
- The integrated buttons and indicators are already equipped with contact modules and LED modules, and only need to be fixed in the middle.

SIRIUS ACT can provide four specifications:
- Plastic, 22mm, round, black
- Metal, 22mm, round, matte

- Metal, 30mm, pure flat design, round, matte
A single button/indicator light consists of the following parts:
- Button head or indicator light head on the front of the control panel
- Middle seat for fixing on the back of the control panel
- Up to six contact modules and/or one LED module (installed on the middle seat), and contact modules can be stacked for use for single contacts
- Various labels for marking/identification
- Can provide integrated indicators, buzzers, potentiometers, inductive operation buttons, extended handle buttons, and indicators. This integrated design has electrical components integrated, only wiring is needed.

Contact Modules and LED Modules
- Contact modules can ensure high reliability even when the voltage and current are small (such as 5V/1 mA). It is suitable for both electronic control systems and traditional control systems. Normally closed contact modules have the feature of forced opening.
- Integrated LED modules are used for illumination.
- Both contact modules and LED modules have connection markings conforming to EN 50013 standards.
Module Installation
- For SIRIUS ACT, install the modules (without other accessories) on the middle seat. The middle seats are divided into plastic and metal types, and these middle seats are all equipped with three module installation positions. For toggle operation buttons and selector buttons with four switch positions, middle seats with four module installation positions can be provided.
Interface Types
Module interface types include:
- Screw connection
- Snap - in connection
- Solder connection (solder pad 0.8 mm x 0.8 mm) for assembly on circuit boards
ID Key Operation Buttons
- ID key operation buttons are electronic, with keys of different codes, which can control up to 4 switch positions at most. With 4 ID keys of different codes, 1 - 4 positions can be selected. ID keys can be clearly distinguished by color codes (yellow, blue, red, green, white).
Differences of ID key operation buttons:
- Environmentally friendly raw materials
- Traditional series: 1 + 4 non - insulated output terminals
- Series with IO - Link: Can be individually encoded
Operation:
- Insert the ID key and select the position by rotation. Even in electronic modules, standard keys can also be used as ID key operation buttons with IO - Link function. White ID keys are not encoded when delivered.

Environmental Conditions

- The explosion - proof type "intrinsically safe" Exi meets the requirements of ATEX Directive 94/9/EG.
- Complies with the safety emergency stop of ISO 13850 standard.
- SIRIUS ACT emergency stop buttons comply with IEC 60204 - 1 or EN 60204 - 1 standard requirements.
Safety Circuits
- According to the requirements of IEC 60947 - 5 - 1 or EN 60947 - 5 - 1 standards, it needs to have the function of forced opening. For the consideration of personal safety, the method of correctly opening and closing the normally closed switch elements in all safety circuits of the machine shall be clearly specified for electrical equipment, and marked with the use identifier (Ⓢ) according to IEC 60947 - 5 - 1.
- When selecting and correctly connecting appropriate fault - safe analysis equipment (such as 3SK11 safety switch equipment, 3RK3 modular safety system or ASIsafe, SIMATIC or SINUMERIK program - compatible equipment), it can assist the emergency stop button to meet the requirements of EN ISO 13849 - 1 level 4.
- SIRIUS ACT buttons and indicators can be quickly and safely integrated into the AS - i communication system.
