Series Overview
Precautions for Installation and Use of Current Transformers
- The secondary winding of the current transformer is strictly prohibited from being open - circuited; otherwise, it will generate high - voltage hazards and endanger the safety of equipment and personnel.
- One end of the secondary side of the current transformer should be reliably grounded to prevent insulation breakdown between the primary and secondary.
- Use the current transformer strictly in accordance with the rated power, rated transformation ratio, and accuracy level indicated on the nameplate.
- The primary winding of the current transformer is connected in series with the measured circuit, and the secondary winding is connected in series with the electrical measuring instrument. When wiring, attention must be paid to the polarity of the current transformer.
- The connecting wire for the secondary circuit should use an insulated wire with low electrical resistance, and there should be no joints in the middle.
- The impedance of the instrument connected in series in the secondary winding circuit should not exceed the provisions of relevant technical standards.
- The current transformers used for relay protection and electric energy metering should be avoided from being used together.
Ordering Information
- Specify the model, specification, current ratio, accuracy level, and rated secondary capacity of the transformer.
- Specify the installation method. (If not specified, our company will provide it according to its own regulations)
Product Features
- The shell of the ALH - 0.66I type current transformer is made of high - strength PC plastic, with a fully enclosed structure. Both square holes and round holes are available. It can be used to pass through cables or busbars and is generally used for control, protection, and measurement.
- P1 and P2 represent the primary polarity terminals, and S1 and S2 represent the secondary polarity terminals.
- P1, S1 and P2, S2 are homonymous terminals (subtractive polarity).
Product Features
- The ALH - 0.66II type current transformer adopts a high - strength PC shell and a fully enclosed structure, with rectangular perforations. The number of through - core turns is one turn for each. It is mainly used for passing through busbars and can also pass through cables. It can pass through a maximum of 6 busbars and is generally used for control, protection, and measurement.
- P1 and P2 represent the primary polarity terminals, and S1 and S2 represent the secondary polarity terminals. P1, S1 and P2, S2 are homonymous terminals (subtractive polarity).
Product Features
- The ALH - 0.66III type current transformer is an improved product based on types I and II. It is mainly used in occasions where three - phase busbars are arranged vertically, thus avoiding the inconvenience caused by the secondary outgoing lines being blocked by adjacent busbars or transformers. It mainly adopts the installation method of fixing with busbars, which is very convenient. At the same time, the capacity of the transformer has been increased, greatly improving its accuracy, so as to meet the higher requirements of large - impedance loads and electric energy metering. P1 and P2 represent the primary polarity terminals, and S1 and S2 represent the secondary polarity terminals. P1, S1 and P2, S2 are homonymous terminals (subtractive polarity).
Product Features
- The ALH - 0.66M type current transformer is suitable for occasions with small current and small space, especially suitable for drawer cabinets. It is very convenient to install and can be directly installed on a guide rail (or installed with the guide rail configured by our factory) or directly installed by passing through busbars. The primary wiring of the transformer adopts screw - type wiring, avoiding the trouble of adding turns on the primary side at small currents.
- In addition to having the characteristics of type M, the ALH - 0.660 type current transformer adopts a direct threading method on the primary side without disconnecting the busbar. The diameters of the threading holes are 8mm, 12mm, 15mm, and 22mm. The number of through - core turns is one turn for each (excluding customized specifications other than samples).
