DW45 Series Intelligent Universal Circuit Breaker
Scope of Application
The DW45 Series Intelligent Universal Circuit Breaker (hereinafter referred to as "the circuit breaker") is suitable for power distribution networks with AC 50Hz, rated operational voltage of 400V/690V, and rated current from 630A to 6300A. It is primarily used for power distribution, feeder protection, and generator protection, safeguarding lines and power equipment against overload, undervoltage, overvoltage, current/voltage imbalance, short-circuit, and grounding faults. Through load monitoring and zone interlocking functions, it ensures rational operation of the power grid. It also measures grid parameters such as current, voltage, power, frequency, energy consumption, demand, and harmonics at grid nodes. The circuit breaker can directly protect motors and generators against overload, undervoltage, and short-circuit faults.
Equipped with an intelligent controller, the circuit breaker provides precise selective protection to avoid unnecessary power outages, enhancing power supply reliability, continuity, and safety. It may include an open communication interface to achieve "four remote functions" (telemetry, telecommand, remote control, and remote adjustment), meeting requirements of control centers and automation systems.
When the intelligent controller and current transformers are removed, this series can function as an isolator.
The circuit breaker supports both top and bottom cable entry, making it suitable for power stations, factories, smart buildings, and other low-voltage distribution applications. It can also serve as an infrequent starter for motors.
● Compliance Standards: GB/T 14048.2 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear – Part 2: Circuit breakers.

Normal Operating, Installation, and Transportation Conditions
a) Ambient air temperature: -5℃ to +40℃, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +35℃;
Note: For temperatures above +40℃ or below -5℃, consult the manufacturer.
b) Installation altitude ≤ 2000m;
Note: For altitudes exceeding 2000m, consult the manufacturer.
c) Relative humidity ≤ 50% at +40℃; higher humidity is permissible at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% maximum monthly average humidity at +20℃). Condensation due to temperature fluctuations must be mitigated.
d) Pollution degree: 3.
e) Main circuit installation category: IV. For main circuits ≤ AC400V, control/auxiliary circuits (excluding undervoltage release coils and primary coils of the controller's power transformer) shall comply with installation category III. For main circuits between AC400V–690V, control/auxiliary circuits must be isolated via transformers, with maximum operational voltage ≤ AC400V and installation category III.
f) Suitable for electromagnetic environment A.
a) Secure the circuit breaker in the distribution cabinet using four M10 bolts and washers. Ensure no additional mechanical stress is applied to avoid damage or poor main busbar contact.
b) Install in non-explosive environments free of conductive dust, corrosive substances, or insulation-damaging materials.
c) Standard protection rating: IP20. When installed in a cabinet with a door frame, protection rating reaches IP40.
a) Temperature range: -25℃ to +55℃; relative humidity ≤ 95% at +25℃.
b) Handle with care during transportation. Avoid inversion, rolling, or severe impacts.
