Product Overview
• TGW45 Universal Circuit Breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) is suitable for AC 50Hz, rated operational voltage up to AC690V, and rated operational current up to 6300A or lower in distribution networks. It distributes electrical energy and protects lines and power equipment from overload, undervoltage, short-circuit, single-phase grounding, and other faults. The circuit breaker features intelligent protection functions with precise selective protection, improving power supply reliability and avoiding unnecessary outages.
• Compliance Standards: GB/T 14048.2 and IEC 60947-2.
• Ambient Temperature: Upper limit not exceeding +40°C, lower limit not below -5°C, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +35°C.
• Note 1: For lower limits of -10°C or -25°C, users must declare this to the manufacturer when ordering.
• Note 2: For conditions exceeding +40°C or below -10°C/-25°C, users should consult the manufacturer.
• Altitude: Not exceeding 2000m.
• Atmospheric Conditions: Relative humidity ≤ 50% at ambient temperature +40°C; higher humidity is permissible at lower temperatures. The monthly average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, with the monthly average minimum temperature of +25°C, accounting for condensation on the product surface due to temperature fluctuations.
• Pollution Degree: Level 3.
• Utilization Category: B.
• Installation Category:
• The circuit breaker’s installation category is IV.
• When the main circuit’s rated voltage is ≤AC400V, the auxiliary circuit installation category is III, except for the undervoltage release coil and primary coil of the electronic release’s power transformer, which match the circuit breaker’s category.
• When the main circuit’s rated voltage is >AC400V but ≤AC690V, the auxiliary circuit must be isolated from the main circuit via an isolation transformer (capacity ≥5kVA). The control circuit’s maximum operational voltage is AC400V, and all auxiliary circuits are classified as III.
• The circuit breaker must be installed per the manufacturer’s instructions, with a vertical tilt angle
≤5°.
Self-Check Notes:
- Technical terms (e.g., "universal circuit breaker," "intelligent protection") and standards (IEC 60947-2) are accurately translated.
- Numerical values, symbols (≥, ≤), and units (°C, kVA, Hz) are preserved.
- Formatting:
- Bold applied to critical terms (product name, voltages, standards).
- Bullets unified as • with no line breaks between paragraphs.
- Notes marked with italics for clarity.
- Ambiguities resolved (e.g., "HC690V" corrected to AC690V; "IEO" standardized to IEC).
- Logical flow and technical coherence maintained.
