The HR17 (HR17B) fuse - type isolating switch (isolator) has a rated insulation voltage of 880V, a rated working voltage of up to 690V, and a rated working current of up to 630A, with a rated frequency of 50Hz. It is used as a power switch, an isolating switch, and an emergency switch for circuit protection in power distribution and motor circuits with high short - circuit currents. However, it is generally not used as a direct on - off switch for a single motor.

The switch is equipped with a fuse, used to protect the circuit or cut off the fault current.
Both the switch base and the switch cover are made of reinforced plastic, with relatively high strength and very safe to use.
