SIRIUS ACT Buttons and Indicators
  • SIRIUS ACT adopts a modular design, which consists of button heads, indicator lights, contact blocks installed on the back of the panel, and LED modules. For the most common application conditions, it can provide complete sets of buttons and indicators composed of button heads or indicator light heads, as well as contact blocks and/or LED modules.
  • The integrated buttons and indicators are already equipped with contact blocks and LED modules, and only need to be fixed in the middle.

A single button/indicator light consists of the following parts:
  • Button head or indicator light head on the front side of the control panel
  • Middle seat for fixing on the back side of the control panel
  • Up to six contact blocks and/or one LED module (installed on the middle seat), and single contact blocks can be used in a stacked combination
  • Various labels for marking/identification
  • Can provide integrated indicator lights, buzzers, potentiometers, inductive operation buttons, lever - extended buttons, and indicators. This integrated design has electrical components pre - assembled, only requiring wiring.

Contact Blocks and LED Modules

  • Contact blocks can ensure high reliability even when the voltage and current are small (such as 5V/1mA). They are suitable for both electronic control systems and traditional control systems. Normally closed contact blocks have the feature of forced opening.
  • Integrated LED modules are used for illumination.
  • Both contact blocks and LED modules have connection markings that meet the EN 50013 standard.

Installation of Modules

  • For SIRIUS ACT, install the modules (without other accessories) on the middle seat. The middle seats are divided into plastic and metal types, and these middle seats are all equipped with three module installation positions. For lever - operated buttons and selector buttons with four switch positions, middle seats with four module installation positions can be provided.

  • Soldering connection (solder pad 0.8mm x 0.8mm) for assembly on circuit boards

ID Key Operation Buttons

  • ID key operation buttons are electronic. The keys have different encodings and can control up to 4 switch positions at most. With 4 different encoded ID keys, 1 - 4 positions can be selected. ID keys can be clearly distinguished by color codes (yellow, blue, red, green, white).
  • The differences of ID key operation buttons are:
    • Environmentally friendly raw materials
    • Traditional series: 1 + 4 non - insulated output terminals
    • Series with IO - Link: Can be individually encoded

Operation:

  • Insert the ID key and select the position by rotating. Even in the electronic module, the standard key can also be used as an ID key operation button with IO - Link function. The white ID key is not encoded when delivered.

Safety Circuits

Out of consideration for personal safety, the method for correctly opening normally closed switch elements in all safety circuits of the machine shall be clearly defined for electrical equipment, and marked with the identification (⌘) as required by IEC 60947 - 5 - 1.
  • When selecting and correctly connecting appropriate fault - safe analysis equipment (such as 3SK11 safety switch equipment, 3RK3 modular safety system or ASIsafe, SIMATIC or SINUMERIK program - compatible devices), the emergency stop button can meet the requirements of EN ISO 13849 - 1 level 4.
  • SIRIUS ACT buttons and indicators can be quickly and safely integrated into the AS - i communication system.
