Series Overview

The HD series knife - switch (hereinafter referred to as the switch) is suitable for AC 50Hz, with a rated working voltage of up to 690V and a rated working current of up to 3000A in complete power distribution equipment. It is used as a switch for infrequent manual making and breaking of circuits or as an isolating switch. Among them:
- The central handle - type knife - switch is mainly used in power stations and does not cut off circuits with current. It is used as an isolating switch.
- The side - front lever operating mechanism - type switch is mainly used in switch cabinets for front - side operation and pre - maintenance. The operating mechanism can be installed on both sides of the cabinet.
- The central - front lever operating mechanism - type switch is mainly used in switch cabinets for front - side operation and post - maintenance. The operating mechanism is installed right in the front.
- The side - operated handle - type switch is mainly used in power boxes.
- Switches equipped with arc - extinguishing covers can cut off appropriate current loads. Other series of switches are only used as isolating switches.
- The product complies with the GB/T 14048.3 standard.

Normal Working Conditions and Installation Conditions

The upper limit of the ambient air temperature does not exceed + 40°C, and the lower limit is not lower than - 5°C.
The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 2000m.
Humidity: When the maximum temperature is 40°C, the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, for example, reaching 90% at 20°C. Special measures should be taken for condensation occasionally generated due to temperature changes.
The pollution level of the surrounding environment is level 3.
The switch should be installed vertically in a place without significant shaking, impact vibration, and without heavy snow and ice. At the same time, the installation site should be free of explosive and hazardous media, and there should be no gases and dust in the medium that can corrode metals and damage insulation.
