Product Description
- The HD series and HS series knife switches (hereinafter referred to as switches) are suitable for complete power distribution equipment with AC 50Hz, a rated working voltage of up to 690V, and a rated working current of up to 3000A. They are used for infrequent manual making and breaking of circuits or as isolating switches.
- The central handle - type knife switch is mainly used in power stations and does not break circuits with current, serving as an isolating switch.
- The side - front lever - operated knife switch is mainly used in switch cabinets for front - side operation and front maintenance, and the operating mechanism can be installed on both sides of the cabinet.
- The central - front lever - operated knife switch is mainly used in switch cabinets for front operation and rear maintenance, and the operating mechanism is installed right in the front.
- The side - operating handle - type switch is mainly used in power boxes.
- Switches equipped with arc - extinguishing covers can break appropriate current loads, while other series of knife switches are only used as isolating switches.
- The product complies with the GB/T14048.3 standard.
Normal Working Conditions and Installation Conditions
- The upper limit of the ambient air temperature does not exceed + 40°C, and the lower limit is not lower than - 5°C.
- The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 2000m.
- Humidity: When the maximum temperature is 40°C, the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, for example, reaching 90% at 20°C. Special measures should be taken for condensation occasionally generated due to temperature changes.
- The pollution level of the surrounding environment is level 3;
- The switch should be installed vertically in a place without significant shaking, impact vibration, and without heavy snow and ice. At the same time, the installation site should be free of explosive and hazardous media, and there should be no gases and dust in the medium that can corrode metals and damage insulation.
