Standard Terminals
● EasyPact CVS100 to 630 terminals, including nuts and screws:
● EasyPact CVS100: M6 nuts and screws
● EasyPact CVS160/250: M8 nuts and screws
● EasyPact CVS400/630: M10 nuts and screws
These terminals can be used for:
● Direct connection of insulated busbars or cables with lugs
● Terminal extension
●
Phase barriers or terminal covers are recommended. Certain connection accessories require these components (phase barriers will be provided in such cases).
Busbars
● If the switchgear configuration is untested,
insulated busbars must be used for connections.
Cable Lugs
● Two types of lugs are available for aluminum and copper cables.
●
Narrow lugs require phase barriers or terminal covers, which will be supplied to the user.
Terminal Extenders
● Terminal extenders connect to the standard terminals of the circuit breaker, enabling diverse wiring configurations in compact spaces.
● Straight terminal extenders
● Right-angle terminal extenders
Pole Spacing Extenders
● Pole spacing can be increased using extenders:
● CVS100 to 250: Spacing increases from 35mm to 45mm
● CVS400/630: Spacing increases from 45mm to 52mm or 70mm
● Busbars, lugs, or terminal extenders can connect to the breaker’s line or load side.
Bare Cables
● Bare copper or aluminum cables (without lugs) can use bare cable connectors.
Single Cable Connectors for EasyPact CVS100~250
● Connectors clip onto breaker terminals or mount via fixtures on straight/right-angle terminal extenders or pole spacing extenders.
Single Cable Connectors for EasyPact CVS400/630
● Connectors are screw-fixed to breaker terminals.
Dual Cable Connectors for EasyPact CVS100~250 and 400/630
● Connectors are screw-fixed to breaker terminals or right-angle terminal extenders.
Rear Connections
● Breakers mounted on backplates allow rear wiring via rear connection terminals. Busbars or cable lugs can be positioned horizontally, edge-mounted, or at 45°, depending on terminal placement.
●
Rear connection terminals easily attach to breaker terminals. All length and position combinations are achievable.
Accessory Selection
Standard for CVS100~250
● Pre-installed slots for:
● 5 signaling contacts:
● 2 ON/OFF contacts (OF1 & OF2)
● 1 trip indication (SD)
● 1 fault trip indication (SDE)
● 1 earth leakage indication (SDV) (with VigiCVS)
● 1 remote trip coil:
● 1 MN undervoltage coil or 1 MX shunt coil.
Standard for CVS400/630
● Pre-installed slots for:
● 6 signaling contacts:
● 3 ON/OFF contacts (OF3)
● 1 trip indication (SD)
● 1 fault trip indication (SDE)
● 1 earth leakage indication (SDV) (with VigiCVS)
●
1 remote trip coil.
Padlocking
●
Standard: Up to 3 padlocks (5-8mm diameter, user-supplied) can lock the breaker in the OFF position.
Extended Rotary Handle
● IP54, IK08 rating.
● Allows breaker operation from the switchgear door while maintaining:
● Visibility and adjustment of trip settings
● Isolation compliance
● Clear indication of 0 (OFF), I (ON), and tripped status.
Components:
● Front cover section (screw-fixed) removed from the breaker.
● Door-mounted components (handle and nameplate) remain fixed vertically or horizontally.
● Shaft length adjustable for backplate-to-door distances:
● CVS100~250: 185–600 mm
●
CVS400/630: 209–600 mm
Manual Power Transfer System
● Interlock accessory enables mutual locking of two breakers with rotary handles, ensuring only one breaker closes at a time.
● Compatible with direct or extended handles.
● Up to 3 padlocks can secure breakers in OFF/ON positions.
Note:
● (1) CVS100(NM), CVS125(NM), CVS160/250(BM/FM/NM/HM) lack direct handle accessories.
● (2) Excludes CVS63, CVS100(BS/FS/NM), CVS125, CVS160/250(BM/FM/NM/HM).
Universal Motorized Operating Mechanism
● Controls breaker opening/closing:
● Remote operation via electrical signals.
● Local operation via manual actuator on the front panel.
Locking
● Locking in OFF position ensures compliance with IEC 60947-2 isolation requirements. Supports up to 3 padlocks (5-8mm, user-supplied). Specific locks may require additional accessories.
