Product Features
Indicating Contacts
Contacts mounted within the circuit breaker.
• Changeover contacts for remote monitoring of circuit breaker status, suitable for display, electrical interlocking, and relay control. Complies with IEC 60947-5 international standard.
Functions
• OF (ON/OFF) – Indicates main contact position of the circuit breaker.
• SD (Trip Indication) – Signals that the circuit breaker has tripped due to:
- Overload
- Short circuit
- Undervoltage release activation
- "Push to trip" button operation
- Contacts open when breaker is ON; return to closed state after reset.
• SDE (Fault Indication) – Signals that the circuit breaker has tripped due to:
- Overload
- Short circuit
- Contacts return to closed state after breaker reset.
• CAF/CAO (Pre-closing/Pre-opening Function) – Indicates rotary handle position. Primarily used for early opening (pre-opening) in safety trips or energizing controls before breaker closing (pre-closing).
Installation
• OF, SD, and SDE functions – Single contact type performs different indicating functions based on mounting position within the breaker. Contacts are fixed in elongated holes behind the front cover.
• CAF/CAO function – Contacts mounted in the rotary handle device (direct or extended).
Rotary Handles
Two types available:

Direct Rotary Handle
- Models: Standard (black handle).
- Protection: IP40, IK07.
- Features:
• Visible trip settings
• Suitable for isolation
• Indicates O (OFF), I (ON), and tripped positions
• Operates "Push to trip" button
• Allows locking in OFF position with 1–3 padlocks (shackle Ø 5–8mm, not supplied)
• Replaces circuit breaker front cover.
- Modifications for specific applications:
• Motor Control Centers (MCC):
- Door cannot open when breaker is ON.
- Breaker cannot close when door is open.
- Higher protection (IP43, IK07).
• Machine tool control (CNOMO B03.81.501): IP54, IK07.

Extended Rotary Handle
- Protection: IP55, IK07.
- Operates breakers mounted behind switchboard panels via front-mounted handle.
- Features:
• Suitable for isolation
• Indicates O (OFF), I (ON), and tripped positions
• Visible trip settings when switchboard door is open
• Allows locking in OFF position with 1–3 padlocks (shackle Ø 5–8mm, not supplied)
• Door cannot open when breaker is ON or locked.
- Components:
• A part replacing the breaker front cover (bolted).
• A device on the door (handle and front plate).
• Extension shaft (positioned identically for vertical/horizontal mounting; distance must be adjustable).
- Min./max. distance between breaker rear and door: 218/605mm.
Undervoltage Release
• Triggers breaker opening via electrical command. Components include:
- Shunt release (MN)
- Undervoltage release (MN)
- Delayed undervoltage release (MN + delay unit).
• Delay unit is externally mounted; delay can be bypassed using emergency OFF button for instant tripping.
Remote Operation of Circuit Breaker
• Motorized Operating Mechanism: Remotely controls closing/opening via a spring-energy storage mechanism with shunt (MN) and closing (MN) coils.
• Remote operation typically requires:
- ON/OFF indication (OF)
- Fault trip indication (SDE)
Additional Accessories
• Secondary Terminal Cover (CB):
- Optional for drawout racks; prevents accidental contact with secondary terminals.
• Operation Counter (CDM):
- Counts operations (readable on front panel); compatible with manual/electrical operations.
• Door Frame (CDP):
- Mounted on cabinet doors (IP40 protection); suitable for fixed and drawout versions.
