Additionally, the 250A and 400A frame sizes can provide Type B residual current protection, complying with Appendix B of GB/T 14048.2-2008 and GB/T 6829-2017. Type B protection circuit breakers meet the residual current protection requirements of GB/T 16895.32 "Electrical Installations for Photovoltaic (PV) Arrays" and GB/T 18487.1 "Electric Vehicle Conductive Charging System". They are widely used in photovoltaic power generation and electric vehicle DC charging applications, and can also be applied in AC circuits with frequencies up to 1000Hz, such as variable frequency speed regulation (400Hz), airports (400Hz), power tools and welding (450Hz), textiles (700Hz), and automotive manufacturing welding (1000Hz).
● Operating time meets the requirements for graded coordination in GB13955.
● Provides residual current protection solutions for AC 690V.
Switching Function
● Two mechanically and electrically interlocked circuit breakers, equipped with controllers, etc., enable automatic switching between two power sources (refer to CA1/CA1B/CA1W series Automatic Transfer Switching Equipment sample data).
Product Series Overview
CM5L Molded Case Circuit Breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are a new generation of circuit breakers developed with international advanced level technology featuring a double-breakpoint structure:
● CM5L series circuit breakers with residual current protection and thermal-magnetic adjustable releases are available in four frame sizes: 125A, 250A, 400A, 630A. Current ratings range from 1.5A to 630A, and residual currents range from 30mA to 3A.
● Based on the level of rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu), the circuit breakers are classified into seven grades: C (Basic), L (Standard), M (Medium), H (High), S (Super High), V (Ultra High), R (690V High Performance).
● Circuit breakers with short-circuit breaking capacity grades C, L, M, H, S can be connected with reverse polarity at all voltage levels. V and R types cannot be connected with reverse polarity at AC 690V.
● Circuit breakers can be mounted vertically or horizontally on vertical mounting plates, or mounted on horizontal mounting plates.
● All circuit breakers have isolation function, indicated by the symbol: X
●
CM5L circuit breakers can incorporate a residual current alarm without tripping module to avoid significant losses caused by power outages, meeting the requirements of Article 4.6 in GB13955.
