Series Overview
Outline of I-Series
- Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) (hereinafter referred to as Circuit Breakers) are compact breakers developed using double-breakpoint structure technology, achieving international advanced levels. They are categorized as:
- Thermomagnetic Type CM5X-125 Circuit Breaker, current ratings from 1.5A to 125A.
- Thermomagnetic Type with Residual Current Protection CN5XL-125 Circuit Breaker, current ratings from 1.5A to 125A, residual current ratings from 30mA to 500mA.
- Based on their rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu), circuit breakers are classified into three levels: C Type (Basic), L Type (Standard), and H Type (High Breaking Capacity).
- Circuit breakers allow Reverse Feed Connection.
- Circuit breakers can be mounted vertically or horizontally on vertical mounting panels, or mounted on horizontal panels. They can also be DIN-rail mounted (CM5I-125).
- Circuit breakers possess Isolation Function, indicated by the symbol:
- Products comply with the following standards:
- IEC 60947-1 & GB/T 14048.1-2012 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - General rules
- IEC 60947-2 & GB/T 14048.2-2008 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Circuit-breakers
- IEC 60947-4-1 & GB/T 14048.4-2010 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Contactors and motor-starters - Electromechanical contactors and motor-starters (including motor-protectors)
- Normal Service and Mounting Conditions
- Ambient air temperature: -5°C to +40°C.
- Altitude at installation site: Not exceeding 2000m.
- Relative humidity at installation site: Not exceeding 50% at max. temperature of +40°C; higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at 20°C). Special measures should be taken for occasional condensation due to temperature changes.
- Pollution Degree: 3.
- Circuit breakers meet GB/T 2423.10 test requirements, capable of withstanding mechanical vibration: Frequency 2Hz~13.2Hz, Displacement ±1mm and Frequency 13.2Hz~100Hz, Acceleration ±0.7g.
- Installation Category: III for main circuit; II for other auxiliary and control circuits.
- Suitable for Electromagnetic Environment A.
- Tropicalized (TH Type) circuit breakers meet GB/T 2423.4 and GB/T 2423.18 test requirements, capable of withstanding the effects of humid air, salt mist, oil mist, and mold.
- Must be installed in locations free from explosion hazards, conductive dust, and substances corrosive to metal or destructive to insulation.
- Must be installed in locations protected from rain and snow.
- Permissible Service Conditions
- Circuit breakers meet GB/T 2423.1 and GB/T 2423.2 test requirements. Ambient air temperature can be as low as -25°C and as high as +70°C (Derating applies above +40°C; refer to technical data in this catalog).
- Circuit breakers meet GB/T 2423.4 test DB requirements (Temperature +55°C, Relative Humidity 95%).
- Characteristics unaffected up to an altitude of 2500m (Derating applies above 2500m; refer to technical data in this catalog).
- Storage Conditions: Ambient air temperature: -25°C to +70°C.
