● CDM3T series products operate in Pollution Degree 3 environments, as defined by standards IEC 60947-1 and IEC 60664-1 (industrial environments).
Resistance to Climatic Conditions
● Dry cold, dry heat, damp heat
Ambient Temperature
● CDM3T series can operate continuously under normal ambient and operating temperatures ranging from -5°C to +40°C.
● If the operating ambient temperature exceeds +40°C (or +60°C for motor protection), refer to the temperature derating coefficient table for usage, or contact us.
● Storage temperature ranges from -20°C to +70°C.
Altitude
● Normal operating installation altitude does not exceed 2000m.
● If installation at altitudes exceeding 2000m is required, the change in dielectric strength and the decrease in air cooling capacity must be considered. Refer to the altitude derating coefficient table for usage, or contact us.
Humidity
● Normal operation requires:
● Relative humidity not exceeding 50% at a maximum ambient air temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures.
● The monthly average relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%.
● The potential impact of condensation forming on the product surface on product performance must be considered.
Reliable Contact Indication with Isolation Function
● CDM3T series molded case circuit breakers comply with isolation as defined in IEC standard 60947-2.
● The isolation position corresponds to the "0" (OFF) position.
● The operating handle can only indicate the "OFF" position when the contacts are physically open.
● The reliability of the contact indication system is not compromised by the use of rotary handles or electric operators. Testing guarantees the isolation function:
● Mechanical reliability of the contact indication system.
● Absence of leakage current.
● Adequate overvoltage withstand capability between line and load terminals.
