Scope of Application:
The HM18-63 series miniature circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are primarily suitable for providing overcurrent protection for electrical wiring installations and electrical equipment in residential and similar buildings with AC 50Hz, rated voltage 230V/400V, and rated operational current not exceeding 63A. They can also be used for infrequent switching operations.
Product Conformity: GB/T10963.1, IEC60898-1.
Normal Service Conditions:
● Ambient air temperature: Upper limit not exceeding +40°C, lower limit not lower than -5°C, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +35°C.
● Altitude at the installation site not exceeding 2000m.
● Relative humidity of the atmosphere at the installation site: Not exceeding 50% at the maximum ambient temperature of 40°C; higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures. The monthly average of the relative humidity on the wettest month may exceed 90%, provided the monthly average temperature of that month does not exceed 25°C, and condensation due to temperature changes on the product surface is taken into account.
● Pollution Degree: 2.
● Installation Category: II.
● Mounting: The circuit breaker is mounted on a standard TH35-7.5 rail. It should generally be installed vertically with the handle in the upward position for the current-carrying (ON) state.
● The installation location shall be free from significant shock and vibration.
Structural Features:
● Utilizes high-precision bimetallic strips as the inverse-time thermal protection element, ensuring precise tripping characteristics.
● Excellent current-limiting characteristics, extremely short arcing time, long service life, and reliable performance.
● Features a clear visual indicator for contact position status.
● Terminal connections employ a cage clamp structure, providing secure connections for both flexible and rigid conductors. Suitable for connecting wires from 1mm² to 25mm².
● Comprehensive range of accessories available, including auxiliary contacts, alarm contacts, shunt releases, undervoltage releases, and residual current device (RCD) modules, offering great convenience for intelligent applications.
