Scope of Application
· The HUM18-80S series miniature circuit breaker for prepayment meters is a derivative product based on the HUM18 miniature circuit breaker. It features a specially designed shunt trip delay function.
· Suitable for circuits with AC 50Hz, rated voltage 230V/400V, and rated current up to 80A.
· Primarily used as a supporting device for single-phase/three-phase IC card energy meters to provide overcurrent protection for electrical wiring installations and electrical equipment in buildings and similar applications. It can also be used for infrequent switching operations.
·
Complies with standards: GB/T 10963.1, IEC 60898-1
Normal Service Conditions
· The upper limit of the ambient air temperature does not exceed +40°C, the lower limit is not lower than -5°C, and the 24-hour average does not exceed +35°C.
· The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 2000m.
· The relative humidity of the atmosphere at the installation site does not exceed 50% at the maximum ambient temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures. The average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month does not exceed 90%, and the average temperature of that month does not exceed +25°C, taking into account condensation that may occur on the product surface due to temperature changes.
· Pollution degree: Level 2.
· Installation category: II, III.
· The circuit breaker is mounted on a TH35-7.5 standard rail.
· The circuit breaker should generally be installed vertically with the handle in the upward position as the "ON" position.
· The installation site should be free from significant shock and vibration.
Structural Features
· This product is essentially a control device designed to operate with card-operated energy meters.
· The circuit breaker and the card-operated energy meter are installed and wired normally. The output terminal of the card-operated energy meter's power-on signal is connected to the input terminal (Ctrl line) of the circuit breaker's closing control voltage signal.
· During normal operation, the circuit breaker is closed, supplying power to the user.
· When the electricity credit is exhausted, the Ctrl terminal of the circuit breaker receives no voltage signal. The circuit breaker will trip (open) after a delay period.
· The delay time can be set to any interval between 0.5s and 9s (customizable production in stages; users must specify the required delay time when ordering for special production). Otherwise, the standard product delay time is 0.5s to 2s.
· After the user purchases electricity credit and inserts the IC card into the card-operated energy meter, the meter outputs a closing control voltage signal.
· When the Ctrl terminal of the circuit breaker receives this voltage signal, the circuit breaker can be closed (turned ON), restoring power to the user. Otherwise, the circuit breaker cannot be closed.
