Scope of Application

· The HM18-40/1N series miniature circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are primarily suitable for providing overcurrent protection for electrical wiring installations and electrical equipment in buildings and similar applications. They are designed for AC 50Hz, rated voltage 230V, and rated operational current up to 40A. They can also be used for infrequent switching operations.

· Complies with standards: GB/T 10963.1, IEC 60898-1.

Normal Service Conditions

· The upper limit of the ambient air temperature does not exceed +40°C, the lower limit is not lower than -5°C, and the 24-hour average temperature does not exceed +35°C.

· The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 2000m.

· The relative humidity at the installation site: At the maximum temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures (e.g., up to 90% at 20°C). Special measures must be taken against condensation that may occasionally occur due to temperature changes.

· Pollution degree: 2.

· Installation category: II, III.

· The circuit breaker is mounted on a TH35-7.5 standard rail.

· The circuit breaker should generally be installed vertically with the handle in the upward position as the "ON" position.

· The installation site should be free from significant shock and vibration.

Structural Features

· Compact size, excellent current-limiting effect, and high breaking capacity.

· Features a 1P+N double-break design. The two poles are isolated by an insulator.

· Under the premise of simultaneous closing and opening, the N-pole (Neutral pole) always closes first and opens last. This ensures the protective pole's ability to break the arc while effectively safeguarding the controlled circuit and electrical equipment.

· Clear indication of contact position status.

· Equipped with cage clamp terminals for convenient wiring, ensuring reliable connection for conductors ranging from 1 mm² to 16 mm².
