Scope of Application
• The HUM18Z-50 series miniature DC circuit breakers are newly developed derivatives based on the HUM18-63 series high-breaking-capacity miniature circuit breakers. These products feature reliable performance, high breaking capacity, precise protective characteristics, and compact size. They are widely suitable for industries such as telecommunications and electric locomotives. The circuit breakers are primarily intended for overcurrent protection in DC power circuits and electrical equipment with rated voltages up to 220V/440V and rated operating currents up to 50A. They can also be used for infrequent switching operations.

Normal Operating Conditions
• The relative humidity of the atmosphere at the installation site shall not exceed 50% at the maximum ambient temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures. The average maximum relative humidity of the most humid month shall not exceed 90%, while the average temperature of that month shall not exceed +25°C. Measures must be taken against condensation occurring on the product due to temperature changes.
• The upper limit of the surrounding air temperature shall not exceed +40°C, and the lower limit shall not be lower than -5°C. The average value over 24 hours shall not exceed +35°C.
• The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m.

• The circuit breaker utilizes magnetic blow-out arc extinguishing, resulting in short arcing time, high breaking capacity, precise protective characteristics, and reliable performance.
