Scope of Application
• The DZ47N-40 series miniature circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) is primarily designed for overload and short-circuit protection of power line facilities and electrical equipment in buildings and similar installations within AC circuits rated at 50Hz, with a rated voltage up to 230V and a rated operational current up to 40A. It can also be used for infrequent switching operations.
• This circuit breaker complies with the requirements of standards such as GB/T 10963.1 "Electrical accessories - Circuit-breakers for overcurrent protection for household and similar installations - Part 1: Circuit-breakers for a.c. operation".
Normal Operating Conditions
• The relative humidity of the atmosphere at the installation site shall not exceed 50% at the maximum ambient temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures. The average maximum relative humidity of the most humid month shall not exceed 90%, while the average temperature of that month shall not exceed +25°C. Measures must be taken against condensation occurring on the product due to temperature changes.
• The upper limit of the surrounding air temperature shall not exceed +70°C, and the lower limit shall not be lower than -35°C. The average value over 24 hours shall not exceed +35°C. The reference temperature for the circuit breaker is +30°C. The rated current value must be corrected when the ambient temperature changes.
• The circuit breaker must not be dropped or exposed to rain during use, storage, or transportation.
• For products with an N-pole, the neutral wire must be connected to the pole marked with the N-pole marking.
• The circuit breaker should generally be installed vertically, with the handle in the upward position indicating the "ON" (power supply) state.
• The circuit breaker is mounted using the TH35-7.5 standard mounting rail.
• The installation location must be free from significant impact and vibration.
• The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m.
