Scope of Application
• DZ47LE series Residual Current operated Circuit-Breakers (hereinafter referred to as RCBOs) are suitable for AC 50Hz circuits with rated voltages up to 400V and rated currents up to 63A. They provide household and similar applications with earth leakage and overload protection to prevent fires or personal injury caused by circuit leakage or electric shock. They also offer overvoltage protection against excessive voltage rises due to grid faults.
• Complies with
IEC 61009-1:1996 and
GB 16917.1 standards.
Structure and Operating Principle
• DZ47LE series RCBOs are current-operated electronic devices combining
DZ47 MCBs with residual current releases. When earth leakage or electric shock occurs (leakage current ≥ preset
IΔn), the circuit-breaker trips immediately to cut power, providing leakage and shock protection. Simultaneously, it protects against circuit overloads and short circuits.
Usage and Maintenance
• Safety Limitations:
• Cannot protect against electric shock from simultaneous contact with two live conductors in the protected circuit.
• Input terminals must connect to the power supply; output terminals to the load. Reversing connections will burn the trip coil.
• All power lines must pass through the RCBO; bypassing any conductor ("体外循环") disables load operation.
• Installation Requirements:
• Verify nameplate specifications match actual usage.
• Use conductors with cross-sections matching the product rating.
• Testing Protocol:
• Use certified specialized test instruments only.
• Strictly prohibit direct grounding/short-circuit tests.
• Never test insulation resistance at output terminals. Disconnect auxiliary power and ensure zero voltage at electronic components' I/O ports before testing.
• Operational Checks:
• Press TEST button periodically during operation (under energized conditions). Proper tripping confirms protection reliability. If malfunctioning, remove for repair.
• After tripping due to faults (leakage/overload/short-circuit), identify and resolve the cause before resetting.
• Prohibited Actions:
• Do not adjust preset protection characteristics (overload/short-circuit/leakage).
• On-Site Assembly (MCB + Residual Current Release):
• MCB and release must share identical manufacturer name and trademark.
• Match model, pole count, rated voltage, and rated current.
• Post-assembly derating factor: 0.8.
• Verify correct mechanical operation (ON/OFF).
• Conduct energized TEST button verification.
• Environmental Protection:
• Must never be exposed to rain/snow during transportation, storage, or use.
