Scope of Application
• DZ47LE-100 series Residual Current operated Circuit-Breakers (hereinafter referred to as RCBOs) are suitable for AC 50Hz circuits with rated voltages up to 400V and rated currents up to 100A. They rapidly cut off power during electric shocks or grid leakage exceeding thresholds, protecting personnel and equipment. Additionally, they safeguard circuits/motors against overloads/short-circuits and allow infrequent circuit switching or motor starts.
• Complies with
GB 14048.2
"Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear – Part 2: Circuit-breakers".
Operating and Installation Conditions
• Ambient temperature: -5℃ to +40℃; 24-hour average ≤ +35℃
• Altitude: ≤2,000m
• Relative humidity:
• ≤50% at +40℃; higher humidity permitted at lower temperatures
• Maximum monthly average relative humidity ≤90% (monthly average temperature ≤ +25℃) with measures against condensation
• Pollution degree: Level 2
• Installation category: II,III
• Mounting: Installed on TH35-7.5 standard rails
• External magnetic fields: ≤5 times Earth's magnetic field
• Orientation: Vertical (±5° tolerance); handle upward for ON position
•
Environment: No significant shock/vibration
Structure and Operating Principle
• DZ47LE-100 RCBOs are current-operated electronic devices combining
DZ47-100 MCBs with residual current releases. When leakage current
IΔn reaches the preset threshold, they instantly trip to cut power, providing leakage/shock protection while also guarding against overloads/short-circuits.
Usage and Maintenance
• Safety Limitations:
• Cannot protect against electric shock from simultaneous contact with two live conductors.
• Input terminals → power supply; output terminals → load. Reversal burns the trip coil.
• All conductors must pass through the RCBO; bypassing any conductor disables operation.
• Installation:
• Verify nameplate specifications match usage requirements.
• Use copper conductors with cross-sections per Table 4.
• Testing Protocol:
• Use certified test instruments only. Prohibit direct grounding/short-circuit tests.
• Never test insulation resistance at output terminals. Disconnect auxiliary power and ensure zero voltage at electronic components before testing.
• Operational Checks:
• Press TEST button periodically under energized conditions. Malfunctions require immediate removal.
• After fault-induced tripping (leakage/overload/short-circuit), resolve cause before resetting.
• Prohibited Actions:
• Do not adjust preset protection characteristics.
• Environmental Protection:
• Never expose to rain/snow during transport, storage, or use.
