Combining simplicity and quality
● The FORMULA series consists of three frames: A1, A2, and A3, with frame currents of 125A, 250A, and 630A respectively.
● All three frames are fixed type and come standard with front terminals.
● Factory pre-set thermal-magnetic trip units offer straightforward selection, enabling easy on-site installation, avoiding setting errors, and facilitating use by equipment manufacturers' personnel and future spare part replacement for customers.
● Compact size, easy ordering, simple installation, and quick setup provide users with unprecedented simplicity.

● FORMULA integrates ABB's high quality, high reliability, and simplicity into one, making it a truly simple and practical molded case circuit breaker.
● Reduced dimensions while still ensuring excellent performance and reliability, offering a higher performance-to-size ratio than all comparable circuit breakers on the market. This provides users with more space for cable routing and reduces switchgear size.
● The compact size offers significant advantages, especially for UEM manufacturers, panel builders, and installers.
● FORMULA A1 and A2 are the only high-performance circuit breakers achieving 250A current within a 60mm depth.
All FORMULA series molded case circuit breakers feature the following characteristics:
● Double insulation
● Reliable operation
● Isolation function
● Electromagnetic compatibility
● Top or bottom power connection
● Multi-directional installation: the circuit breaker can be installed horizontally, vertically, or on its side without any impact on performance.
● No derating required up to 2000m above sea level. Above 2000m, changes in atmospheric conditions (air composition, dielectric strength, cooling capacity, and atmospheric pressure) affect the main parameters of the circuit breaker.
● FORMULA series circuit breakers operate normally at ambient temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. Storage temperature ranges from -40°C to +70°C.
● All FORMULA circuit breakers feature a test button for trip testing. Testing is only possible in the closed position.
● FORMULA A3 can be configured with a dedicated white handle for convenient manual operation.
