● The new generation CM6 series MCCB, developed by Changshu Switchgear Mfg. Co., Ltd., addresses the demands of modern electrical distribution systems. Designed with the principles of compact size, high performance, modularity, intelligence, and multifunctionality, it utilizes modern design methods and reliability theory to create a high-quality MCCB product.
● The new generation CM6 series MCCB is based on independent innovation. After years of development, it features new mechanisms, a new arc extinguishing system, and new trip units, establishing a unique new image for MCCBs.
Compact Size
● The new generation CM6 series MCCB features a compact design with outstanding performance. Compared to the previous generation of similar products, its reduced volume allows for smaller cabinet sizes and enables the installation of more products within the same space.
● Breakers
with motor operators for remote control have a reduced height.
Standardization
● The CM6Z series and CM6 series are the same product, differing only in the trip unit. This facilitates standardized installation and use when users select different trip units.
High Performance
● By developing a new, highly reliable single-breakpoint breaking technology, the let-through I²t value during short-circuit interruption is significantly reduced (by approximately 20%).
● CM6-125, CM6-250B feature more compact dimensions with a unified height of 70mm, achieving a breaking capacity of 70kA@415V.
● CM6-160, CM6-250 have a unified height of 82mm, achieving a breaking capacity of 100kA@415V.
● CM6-400, 630 have a unified height of 103mm, achieving a breaking capacity of 100kA@415V.
● The entire series (CM6, CM6Z) supports reverse feed (back-connected) installation.
● Features an ultra-long mechanical life.
High Safety
● The entire series has a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 1000V. The products meet the requirements for reinforced insulation (Class II).
● The performance of the isolation function has been enhanced.
● Compared to the previous generation M3 series, it adds the requirement for a lockable isolation function (GB/T 14048.1), ensuring that a lock can only be installed when the contacts are verifiably in the open position.
● Accessory cover safety interlock: The accessory cover can only be opened for accessory installation when the contacts are in the open position, ensuring user safety.
● Fool-proof design for installing auxiliary switches and alarm switches, making user installation more convenient and accurate.
● Internal accessories are
visually identifiable for easy recognition at a glance.
Intelligence
● The new generation CM6Z series MCCB is equipped with trip units offering various functions, allowing users to select according to their needs to achieve protection, maintenance, and energy efficiency management functions for different electrical distribution systems.

● High-Precision Measurement: The intelligent trip unit (i-type/Z-type) features measurement functions for current, voltage, power, energy, frequency, and demand values. Current measurement accuracy complies with Performance Level 1 of GB/T 18216.12.
● This intelligent trip unit includes power quality monitoring functions, such as harmonic monitoring.
● Ubiquitous IoT Connectivity: The i-type and Z-type intelligent trip units come standard with USB functionality for local connectivity. Optional digital modules are available for the i-type and Z-type intelligent trip units, including built-in Modbus communication, and options for wireless communication (WiFi), Profibus, DeviceNet, door-mounted displays, etc., enabling extensive connectivity.
● Combined with communication capabilities, it has undergone consistent interoperability testing with various power distribution monitoring software developed by the company, ensuring stable and reliable integration:
