Series Overview
● CM5 Molded Case Circuit Breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are a new generation of circuit breakers developed with internationally advanced technology using a double-break structure.
● The thermal-magnetic adjustable type CM5 series circuit breakers have seven frame size ratings: 63A, 125A, 160A, 250A, 400A, 630A, and 1600A, with currents ranging from 1.5A to 630A. Among these, the 125A and 160A frame sizes have a C-type short-circuit breaking capacity level which is thermal-magnetic fixed type; the L-type has both thermal-magnetic fixed type and adjustable type, with currents ranging from 1.5A to 160A.
● CM5-250, 400, and 630 circuit breakers can be used with busbar adapters to achieve integrated quick installation and connection.
● Circuit breakers are classified into seven levels based on rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu): C-type (Basic), L-type (Standard), M-type (Higher Breaking), H-type (High Breaking), S-type (Ultra High Breaking), V-type (Extreme High Breaking), and R-type (690V High Performance).
● Circuit breakers with short-circuit breaking capacity levels C, L, M, H, and S can be reverse connected at all voltage levels. V and R types cannot be reverse connected at AC690V voltage.
● Circuit breakers can be mounted vertically or horizontally on vertical mounting plates, or mounted on horizontal mounting plates.
● All circuit breakers have isolation function, indicated by the corresponding symbol: ●
● Products comply with the following standards:
● IEC 60947-1 and GB/T 14048.1-2012 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - General rules
● IEC 60947-2 and GB/T 14048.2-2008 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Circuit-breakers
● IEC 60947-3 and GB/T 14048.3-2017 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and fuse-combination units
● IEC 60947-4-1 and GB/T 14048.4-2010 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Contactors and motor-starters - Electromechanical contactors and motor-starters (including motor protection devices)
