CDM3E Series Overview Outline - Compliant Standards
● GB/T 14048.1 General Rules
● IEC 60947-1 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 1: General rules
● GB/T 14048.2 Circuit-breakers
● IEC 60947-2 Circuit-breakers - Pollution Degree
● CDM3E series products operate in an environment (industrial environment) defined by IEC 60947-1 and IEC 60664-1 standards, with a Pollution Degree of 3.
● According to Table H.1 of GB/T 14048.1-2012: Withstand capability in humid-heat environments at an altitude of 2000m with a rated impulse withstand voltage of 8kV.
● Ambient Air Temperature:
● Upper limit: +70°C, Lower limit: -40°C; 24-hour average temperature not exceeding +35°C. (Note: For use between -40°C to -25°C and +40°C to +70°C, refer to the derating factor table.)
● Storage temperature: -40°C to +70°C
● Altitude:
● Normal operating installation altitude does not exceed 2000m.
● If installation at altitudes exceeding 2000m is required, changes in dielectric strength and the factor of decreasing air temperature must be considered. Refer to the altitude derating factor table for use.
● Humidity:
● Under normal operating conditions:
● At an ambient air temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity of the atmosphere must not exceed 50%. At lower temperatures, higher relative humidity is permissible.
● The monthly average relative humidity of the most humid month is 90%.
● The impact of condensation on the product surface on product performance must be considered.
● Reliable Contact Position Indication with Isolation Function:
● CDM3E series Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) comply with the isolation requirements defined in IEC 60947-2.
● The isolation position corresponds to the "0" (OFF) position.
● The operating handle can only indicate the "OFF" position when the contacts are physically open.
● The reliability of the contact position indication system cannot be altered by the rotary handle or the electrical operating mechanism.
● Protection Class (IP Rating):
● Breaker body: IP20 (excluding terminals).
Breaker installed in a switchgear cabinet:
● Breaker with rotary manual operator: IP40
● Breaker with electrical operating mechanism: IP40
