Product Introduction
The
CDM3v series Molded Case Circuit Breakers (hereinafter referred to as
CDM3v) are mechanical switching devices capable of making, carrying, and breaking currents under normal circuit conditions, and also making, carrying for a specified time, and breaking currents under specified abnormal circuit conditions such as overload, short-circuit, and under-voltage (accessory function) in low-voltage distribution circuits. They provide protection for circuits and equipment. Widely applicable in low-voltage power consumption places such as power, construction, industry, and OEM.

Operating Conditions
● Pollution Degree
● The operational pollution degree for CDM3v is Degree 3, suitable for environments (industrial environments) as defined by standards IEC 60947-1 and IEC 60664-1.
● Ambient Temperature
● Normal operating conditions: -5°C to +40°C; If the operating ambient temperature exceeds +40°C, refer to the temperature derating coefficient table for use.
● Storage temperature: -40°C to +70°C (If the storage temperature is lower than normal operating conditions, allow the product to stabilize at the operating temperature for at least 24 hours before use).
● Altitude
● Normal operating altitude: ≤ 2000m.
● If installation is required at altitudes exceeding 2000m, changes in dielectric strength and air cooling effects must be considered; refer to the altitude derating coefficient table for use.
● Humidity
● Normal operating humidity: At an ambient air temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity must not exceed 50%.
● At lower temperatures, higher relative humidity is permissible; for example,
90% at +20°C.
● Reliable Contact Position Indication with Isolation Function
● Complies with isolation requirements as defined in IEC standard GB/T 14048.2.
● The isolation position corresponds to the "0" (OFF) position.
● The operating handle can only indicate the "OFF" position when the contacts are physically open.
● The reliability of the contact position indication system is not affected by the use of a rotary handle or motor operator.
