Series Overview
Scope of Application
● The +HYML-C series Molded Case Circuit Breakers (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) are new types developed by our company, incorporating internationally advanced technologies. The product features advanced design, reliable performance, high technical specifications, aesthetically pleasing appearance, and compact size.
● This circuit breaker is suitable for use in AC 50Hz circuits with a rated insulation voltage up to 800V and a rated operational voltage up to 690V, for the distribution of electrical energy and the protection of power supply equipment against damage caused by faults such as overload and short-circuit. It can also be used for infrequent control of motors.
● The circuit breaker complies with standards including GB/T 14048.2 (Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 2: Circuit-breakers) and IEC 60947-2 (Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 2: Circuit-breakers).
Normal Working and Installation Conditions
● Ambient air temperature not higher than +40°C and not lower than -5°C.
● Altitude not exceeding 2000m.
● Relative humidity of the air not exceeding 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C; higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures. The monthly mean minimum temperature of the wettest month does not exceed +25°C, and the monthly mean maximum relative humidity of that month does not exceed 90% (e.g., reaching 90% at +20°C). Special measures should be taken for occasional condensation due to temperature changes.
● Pollution Degree: 3. The surrounding atmosphere shall be free from explosive hazard, and free from gases and conductive dust that corrode metals or damage insulation.
● Installation Category: III.
● The "1, 3, 5, N1" terminals of the circuit breaker must be connected to the power supply, and the "2, 4, 6, N2" terminals must be connected to the load. The connection must not be reversed.
● The mounting surface of the circuit breaker shall be perpendicular to the horizontal plane. The primary mounting method is vertical installation, with the power terminals at the top and the load terminals at the bottom. Horizontal installation is also permissible.
