Scope of Application

● HUM8 series molded case circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are suitable for power distribution systems with AC 50Hz, rated voltage up to 690V, and rated current up to 1250A. They are used to distribute electrical energy and protect the power system from hazards caused by overload, short-circuit, undervoltage, and other faults. They can also be used for infrequent control of motors.

● Electronic trip units and intelligent trip units offer precise and convenient protection characteristic setting. Intelligent trip units feature a serial communication interface, meeting the requirements for "four remote functions" (telemetry, telesignaling, telecontrol, and teleregulation) in communication networking.

● The entire series can be equipped with the unique "overload alarm without tripping" function, ensuring power supply continuity and meeting the requirements of Article 6.3.6 of GB 50054. The entire series of circuit breakers is suitable for use as isolation devices.

● Complies with standards: GB/T 14048.2, IEC 60947-2.

Normal Operating Conditions

● Upper limit of ambient air temperature not exceeding +40°C, lower limit not lower than -5°C, average temperature over 24 hours not exceeding +35°C.

● Relative humidity of air: ≤95%.

● Altitude not exceeding 2000m; derating is required for altitudes above 2000m.

● Pollution degree: 3. The surrounding atmosphere must be free of explosive hazards, and free of gases and conductive dust that corrode metals or damage insulation.

● Installation category: III.

● The "1.3.5.N1" terminals of the circuit breaker connect to the power supply, and the "2.4.6.N2" terminals connect to the load. Reverse connection is not permitted.

● The mounting surface of the circuit breaker should be perpendicular to the horizontal plane. The basic mounting method is vertical installation, with the power supply end at the top and the load end at the bottom. Horizontal installation is also possible.
