Main Purpose and Scope of Application

The HYMIK series Molded Case Circuit Breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are new types of circuit breakers developed by our company by comprehensively adopting internationally advanced technologies. Their rated insulation voltage is up to 800V (500V for HYMIK-63). They are suitable for use in distribution networks with an AC frequency of 50Hz, a rated operational voltage up to 690V (400V for HYMIK-63), and a rated operational current up to 1250A. They are used for distributing electrical energy and providing overload, short-circuit, and under-voltage protection for lines and power supply equipment. They can also be used for infrequent switching of lines and infrequent starting of motors (utilization category AC-1), as well as providing overload, short-circuit, and under-voltage protection for motors.

• According to the level of their rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu), the circuit breakers are classified into three types: L Type (Standard), M Type (Higher Breaking Capacity), and H Type (High Breaking Capacity). This product features compact size, high breaking capacity, short arcing distance, and vibration resistance.

• This product complies with the standard GB/T 14048.2 "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 2: Circuit-breakers".

Circuit Breakers are suitable for the following operating environments:

• Ambient Air Temperature

• The upper limit of the ambient air temperature is not higher than +40°C, the lower limit is -5°C, and the average temperature value over any 24-hour period does not exceed +35°C.

• Altitude

• Altitude of 2000m and below.

• Atmospheric Conditions

• The relative humidity of the atmosphere does not exceed 50% when the ambient air temperature is +40°C; a higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures. The monthly average of the daily maximum relative humidity is 90%, and the monthly average of the daily minimum temperature is +25°C for the wettest month, taking into account condensation on the product surface due to temperature changes.

• Installation Category is III, except for circuit breakers with Inm = 1250A, which are Installation Category IV.
