■ I-Line

● PowerPact H/J/L-frame breakers support I-Line connection. Plug-in wiring is simple and convenient, requiring no additional termination. The connection between breaker terminals and busbars is fuller and more secure.
● I-Line breakers are integral units; their terminals cannot be removed or replaced.
● I-Line serves as the line-side connection method; load-side connections can be cable connectors or lugs.

■ EverLink (B-frame only)

● PowerPact B-frame innovatively uses EverLink cable connection, utilizing creep compensation to maintain precise and durable tightening torque, ensuring reliable termination.
● EverLink connectors accept bare cables directly, saving installation time and space.
● EverLink connectors with auxiliary contact holes can supply power to electrical accessories or enable electrical measurements.

Installation

● The entire PowerPact series can be installed vertically, horizontally, or flat without affecting performance.

● PowerPact B-frame supports backplate mounting, dual rail mounting, and DIN rail mounting.

PowerPact B-frame MCCB General Characteristics

● Mounting screws insert into molded mounting holes on the breaker housing and secure to the rail or backplate.

PowerPact H-frame, J-frame, L-frame MCCB General Characteristics

Vibration

● PowerPact H, J, and L-frame breakers pass seismic tests required by UL ABD SA and SB (Veritas*, Lloyd*, etc.). They also meet IEC 60068-2-6 seismic requirements:

● 2.0 to 2.5Hz: Amplitude +/- 1.6mm
● 25.0 to 100Hz: Acceleration +/- 4.0g

Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)

● H, J, L-frame breakers withstand interference from:

● Overvoltages caused by circuit switching.
● Overvoltages from atmospheric disturbances or aging power systems (e.g., lighting faults).
● Radio frequency interference (radio, walkie-talkies, radar, etc.).
● Direct electrostatic discharge by users.
● Successfully passed EMC tests defined by:
● IEC/EN 60947-2: Annex F, Annex B
● IEC/EN 61000-4-2 (ESD)
● IEC/EN 61000-4-3 (Radiated RF)

● IEC 60068-2-1: Dry Cold (-55°C)
● IEC 60068-2-2: Dry Heat (+85°C)
● Damp Heat:
● IEC 60068-2-30: Damp Heat (+55°C, 95% RH)
● IEC 60068-2-52 Severity Level 2: Salt Mist

Available Trip Units for H, J, L-frame

● H, J, and L-frame breakers offer interchangeable thermomagnetic and electronic trip units. H and J-frames can use thermomagnetic units with independent thermal and magnetic protection per pole.

● Micrologic electronic trip units provide intelligent operation for precise settings. They use dual-sensor technology: iron-core sensors for power supply, air-core sensors for measurement. Independent sensors ensure accuracy by separating supply and detection.
● "Ready" LED: Located on the white front panel of the trip unit. The green LED flashes when the trip unit is ready for protection, indicating proper operation without test tools.
● Micrologic 5/6 trip units feature dual adjustable controls:
● Knob for coarse adjustment (max value).
● Buttons for fine parameter adjustment (increments of 1A or fractions). Adjusted values display clearly.
