- The reliability of the contact position indication system is not altered by rotary handles or motorized operating mechanisms [*].
- Tested isolation function must guarantee:
- Mechanical reliability of the contact position indication system.
- No leakage current.
- A certain overvoltage withstand capability between incoming and outgoing terminals.
- Isolation function cannot be guaranteed if the contacts are displaced.
- Accurate isolation is only ensured when in the OFF position.
Installation in Type-Tested Assemblies (TTA)
- All Compact NGX circuit breakers are insulated on the front for Type 1. They can be installed in Type 1 assemblies (per standards IEC 61140 and IEC 60439-1) without reducing the insulation class of the assembly. This characteristic also applies when the circuit breaker is equipped with a rotary handle or motorized operating mechanism [*].
