Product Overview
- RM2 Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) have a rated insulation voltage of 800V. They are primarily used in distribution networks with an AC 50Hz rated operational voltage of 400V and a rated current up to 125A. They serve to distribute electrical energy and protect lines and power supply equipment from damage caused by overload, undervoltage, short-circuit, and other faults. The circuit breakers can also provide overload, undervoltage, and short-circuit protection for motors.
- RM2 Molded Case Circuit Breakers equipped with an earth fault protection type overcurrent trip unit gain an earth fault protection function in addition to the original overload and short-circuit protection capabilities. They provide protection against fire or other hazards caused by earth faults that cannot be detected by general overcurrent protection devices.
- RM2 Molded Case Circuit Breakers can be equipped with a communication function, allowing information from the circuit breaker to be uploaded to a control computer via a fieldbus. The circuit breaker can also be closed and opened via computer control.
- Ambient Temperature: The ambient air temperature should not exceed +40°C and should not be lower than -5°C, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +35°C. Under special circumstances, the circuit breaker can operate in extreme environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. The user must declare this to the manufacturer and pay attention to the derating factor at high temperatures.
- Atmospheric Conditions: At an ambient air temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity at the installation site should not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures. The monthly average of the maximum relative humidity for the most humid month is 90%, while the monthly average of the minimum temperature for that same month is +25°C. Condensation on the product surface due to temperature changes must be taken into account.
- Pollution Degree: Pollution degree is III.
- Altitude: The altitude of the installation site generally should not exceed 2000m.
