RMM3
Application
The RMM3 series Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) are suitable for use in distribution networks with AC 50Hz, rated operational voltages of 400V/440V/500V/690V, and rated currents up to 800A. They are used for distributing electrical energy and protecting lines, power sources, and electrical equipment against damage from overload, undervoltage, and short circuits, thereby improving power supply reliability. Under normal conditions, they can also be used for infrequent switching of circuits and infrequent starting of motors. They feature an isolation function.
Operating Conditions
• Ambient Temperature: -5°C to +40°C; the average value over 24 hours shall not exceed +35°C.
• Atmospheric Conditions: At a maximum temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity of the air shall not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures, e.g., up to 90% at +20°C. Special measures shall be taken against occasional condensation or frost formation due to temperature changes.
• Pollution Degree: Pollution degree 3.
• Altitude: The altitude at the installation site shall not exceed 2000m.

Application
The RMM3 High Voltage series Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) are suitable for distribution use in circuits with AC 50Hz, rated operational voltages up to 1140V, and rated currents up to 630A.
• The rated impulse withstand voltage of this circuit breaker is 8000V.
• The maximum rated insulation voltage is 1250V.
• Distribution circuit breakers are used in distribution networks to distribute electrical energy and protect lines and power supply equipment against overload and short circuits.
• Under normal conditions, they can be used for infrequent switching of circuits. They feature an isolation function.
Operating Conditions
• Ambient Air Temperature: Upper limit not exceeding +40°C. The average value over 24 hours shall not exceed +35°C. Lower limit generally not lower than -5°C.
• Altitude: The altitude at the installation site generally shall not exceed 2000m.
• Atmospheric Conditions: The relative humidity of the atmosphere shall not exceed 50% at an ambient air temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures. The average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, while the average minimum temperature of that month is +20°C. Condensation occurring on the product surface due to temperature changes must be considered.
• Pollution Degree: Pollution degree 3.
• Installation Category (Overvoltage Category):
• The circuit breaker is for Installation Category III.
• Auxiliary and control circuits not connected to the main circuit for circuit breakers with rated current (I_n) ≤ 320A: Installation Category II.
• Auxiliary and control circuits not connected to the main circuit for circuit breakers with rated current (I_n) ≥ 400A: Installation Category III.
