All-in-One Controllers

The all-in-one programmable controllers of the Twido series, featuring a compact structure (overall dimensions of 80/157×90×70mm), offer users an “all-in-one” solution. There are 8 types of all-in-one controllers available for selection, differing in processing power, DC 24V input, and the quantity of relay and transistor outputs (10, 16, 24, or 40 I/Os).

These controllers utilize:
- An AC power supply ranging from 100 - 240V (capable of outputting 24VDC and supplying 24V DC power for sensors)
- Or a DC power supply within 19.2 - 30V (an external auxiliary power supply must be provided for sensors)

All-in-one controllers possess the following characteristics:
- Small in size yet provide an effective number of I/Os (up to 40), thereby reducing the size of the control cabinet or panel in applications. In some applications, the space it occupies is a crucial factor.
- A variety of expansion modules and optional plug-ins offer users high flexibility, a feature typically only found in higher-level automation platforms. The all-in-one controller TWDLC●A24DRF with 24 I/Os can be expanded with up to 4 discrete and/or analog I/O expansion modules. The all-in-one controller TWDLC●40DRF with 40 I/Os can be expanded with up to 7 modules. All all-in-one controllers can be configured with optional modules, such as a display module, a memory card plug-in, and a real-time clock plug-in. Meanwhile, an RS 485 or RS 232 communication port can be expanded (the all-in-one controller TWDLC●A10DRF cannot expand the second communication port). The wiring method of the all-in-one controller is also highly flexible. For discrete I/O expansion modules (using the all-in-one controllers TWDLC●A24DRF and TWDLC●40DRF), several types of connection methods are available. For instance, plug-in screw terminals and a card-type connection enabling simple and safe wiring. The Telefast pre-wired system allows module connection using HE 10 connectors:
- A pre-formed cable of a section of flying leads is directly connected to sensors/actuators.
- Twido Telefast pre-wired system (combination of connection cable and Telefast wiring base).
- The display module and memory optional plug-in components enable convenient adjustment, transmission, and backup of the application program:
- The display module can serve as a local display and adjustment tool.
- The EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) technology used in the memory plug-in allows the program to be backed up and transferred to any Twido all-in-one or modular controller with the same configuration.
- TwidoSuite software or TwidoSoft software allows for convenient programming using instruction list language or ladder diagram language.
- The all-in-one controller has 2 analog potentiometers on the front panel (the controller with 10 or 16 I/Os has only one).
