SIRIUS ACT Pushbuttons and Indicators

  • SIRIUS ACT adopts a modular design, which consists of a pushbutton head/indicator light head, and contact modules and LED modules installed on the back of the panel. For the most common application conditions, it can provide complete sets of pushbuttons and indicators composed of pushbutton heads/indicator light heads, as well as contact modules and/or LED modules.
  • The integrated pushbutton and indicator already come with contact modules and LED modules, and only need to be fixed in the middle.

Standards

  • IEC 60947-1, EN 60947-1
  • IEC 60947-5-1, EN 60947-5-1
  • IEC 60947-5-5, EN 60947-5-5 (for emergency stop command devices)

Specifications

SIRIUS ACT is available in four specifications:
  • Plastic, 22mm, round, black
  • Metal, 22mm, round, matte
  • Metal, 22mm, round, bright
  • Metal, 30mm, pure flat design, round, matte
A single pushbutton indicator consists of the following parts:
  • Pushbutton head or indicator light head on the front of the control panel
  • Middle base for fixing on the back of the control panel
  • Up to six contact modules and/or one LED module (installed on the middle base), and single contact blocks can be stacked for combined use
  • Various labels for marking/identification
  • Can provide integrated indicators, buzzers, potentiometers, inductive operation pushbuttons, extended - range pushbuttons and indicators. This integrated design has electrical components pre - assembled, only requiring wiring.

Functional Features

  • Easy to Use
    • Both the pushbutton head and the middle base are marked with the installation direction, convenient and easy to use
    • The middle base is installed with a single screw, and the pull - rod design makes installation and disassembly convenient
    • Contact modules can be stacked for use
  • Durable
    • Protection class IP69K
    • LED module service life up to 100,000 hours
    • Mechanical service life up to 1.0×10⁶ cycles
    • The pushbutton head has a rubber ring, and the middle base also has a design to prevent twisting, firm and durable
  • High - Quality Communication
    • Pushbutton box directly connects to AS-i or IO - Link communication
    • Directly connect to IO - Link, AS-i or PROFINET communication inside the switchgear

Contact Modules and LED Modules

  • Contact modules can ensure high reliability even when the voltage and current are small (such as 5V/1 mA). It is suitable for both electronic control systems and traditional control systems. The normally closed contact module has the feature of forced opening.
  • Integrated LED modules are used for illumination.
  • Contact modules and LED modules are marked with connection identifiers conforming to EN 50013 standards.

Module Installation

  • For SIRIUS ACT, install the module (without other accessories) on the middle base. The middle base is divided into plastic and metal types, and these middle bases are all equipped with three module installation positions. For toggle operation pushbuttons and selector pushbuttons with four switch positions, a middle base with four module installation positions can be provided.

Interface Types

Module interface types include:
  • Screw connection
  • Snap - in connection
  • Soldered connection (solder pad 0.8 mm x 0.8 mm) for assembly on circuit boards

ID Key Operation Pushbuttons

  • ID key operation pushbuttons are electronic. The keys have different codes and can control up to 4 switch positions at most. With 4 ID keys of different codes, 1 - 4 positions can be selected. ID keys can be clearly distinguished by color codes (yellow, blue, red, green, white).
Differences of ID key operation pushbuttons:
  • Front ring material
  • Traditional series: 1 + 4 non - insulated output terminals
  • Series with IO - Link: Can be individually encoded
Operation:
  • Insert the ID key and select the position by rotating. Even in the electronic module, the standard key can also be used as an ID key operation pushbutton with IO - Link function. The white ID key is not encoded when delivered.
