The 3VS circuit breaker is a compact - type circuit breaker with a maximum rated current of up to 52A. It works based on the current - limiting principle. It can be used for starting, disconnecting, overload, and short - circuit protection of motors or other loads; 3VS can also be used for motor phase - failure protection. When used for motor or equipment protection, the above - mentioned circuit breakers are equipped with an over - current instantaneous trip and an inverse - time delayed overload trip. The circuit breaker and contactor can be combined to form a fuse - free circuit breaker type combined starting device.
The 3VS circuit breaker is suitable for any climate. It is designed for a good operating environment in an enclosed room (such as dust - free, free of corrosive gas). Before being installed and used in a dusty and humid room, they must be properly sealed and handled. Various working parameters of the circuit breaker: allowable ambient temperature, maximum breaking capacity, trip action current, and other restrictive operating parameters are given in the technical data and trip characteristics.
