Series Overview

Series Overview

Zelio Logic logic controllers are used in small automation systems. They are applied in industrial and commercial fields.
Industrial Field:
  • Automation of small - scale surface treatment, production, assembly or packaging machines.
  • Decentralized automation of auxiliary equipment for medium and large machines (textile, plastic, material conveying, etc.).
  • Automation systems for agricultural machinery (irrigation, climate control, greenhouses, etc.).
Commercial/Building Field:
  • Automation of barriers, roller shutters, access control
  • Automation of lighting systems
  • Automation of compressor and air - conditioning systems
These devices are small in size, easy to install, and highly competitive in solutions based on wired logic or dedicated cards.
Programming
The programming language itself is versatile and can meet all the requirements of automation experts and electrical technicians. Programming can be carried out in the following ways:
  • Use the buttons on the Zelio Logic logic controller to establish a program (ladder diagram).
  • Program on a computer using the “Zelio Soft 2” software.
When programming on a computer, ladder diagram language or function block diagram (FBD) can be used.
To obtain the backlight of the LCD display (1), one of the 6 programming buttons of the Zelio Logic logic controller needs to be activated, or program using the “Zelio Soft 2” software (for example: flashing in case of a fault).
The clock (powered by a button battery) has an operating time of 10 years.
Data backup function (pre - set values and current values) is provided through an EEPROM memory (service life 10 years).
Basic Logic Controllers
Basic logic controllers meet the requirements of simple automation systems. The number of inputs/outputs is:
  • 12 or 20 I/Os, powered by AC 24 V or DC 12 V;
  • 10, 12 or 20 I/Os, powered by AC 100...240 V or DC 24 V.
Expanded Logic Controllers and Their Expansion
The number of inputs/outputs of expanded logic controllers is:
  • 26 I/Os, powered by DC 12 V;
  • 10 or 26 I/Os, powered by AC 24 V, AC 100...240 V or DC 24 V.
To improve performance and flexibility, Zelio Logic expanded logic controllers can be equipped with communication modules and I/O expansion modules to increase the number of I/Os to 40:
  • Modbus or Ethernet communication modules, providing DC 24 V power through Zelio Logic logic controllers (only applicable to DC 24 V).
  • Analog I/O expansion modules with 4 I/Os, providing DC 24 V power through Zelio Logic logic controllers (only applicable to DC 24 V).
  • Discrete I/O expansion modules with 6, 10 or 14 I/Os, providing DC power of the same voltage level through Zelio Logic logic controllers.
Modbus Slave and Ethernet Server Communication Modules
  • Modbus and Ethernet communication modules can be connected to automation system devices, such as display devices or programmable controllers.
Modem Communication Interfaces
The Zelio Logic series “Modem Communication Interfaces” products include:
  • Modem communication interface SR2 COM01, connected between the Zelio Logic logic controller and the modem.
  • Analog (PSTN) modem (1) SR2 MOD01 or GSM modem (2) SR2 MOD02.
  • “Zelio Logic Alarm” software SR2 SFT02.
They are used to monitor or remotely control unattended machines or equipment.
The modem communication interface is powered by DC 12...24 V and can store messages, phone numbers and call statuses.
Expanded Logic Controllers and Analog I/O Expansion Modules
  • To improve the performance and flexibility of Zelio logic controllers, analog I/O expansion modules with a resolution of 10 bits are usually equipped.
  • Acceptable inputs include 0 - 10 V, 0 - 20 mA, and Pt 100 signals.
  • By using a Zelio Logic expanded logic controller with DC 24 V and an analog expansion module with 4 I/Os, up to 30 I/Os can be obtained, including 8 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs.
  • The analog I/O expansion module must be connected to an SR3pppBD type expanded logic controller with a power supply voltage of DC 24 V.
Description
The front panel of the analog I/O expansion module includes the following components:
  • 1 two retractable fixed lugs
  • 2 input connection terminals
  • 3 output connection terminals
  • 4 connectors for logic controllers (powered by logic controllers)
  • 5 positioning pins
