The S7-1200 controller is flexible and powerful, designed to control a wide range of equipment and meet diverse automation needs. Compact in design, configurable, and featuring a robust instruction set, it offers an ideal solution for various applications.
The CPU integrates a microprocessor, power supply, input/output circuits, PROFINET connectivity, high-speed motion control I/O, and onboard analog inputs into a compact, stylish housing. Once the user program is downloaded, the CPU executes logic to monitor inputs and control outputs based on program instructions, including Boolean logic, counting, timing, mathematical operations, and communication with other devices.
The CPU features a PROFINET port for network communication and supports add-on modules for PROFBUS, GPRS, RS485, or RS232 connectivity.
