- The 3RT2 contactors have passed climate testing and are suitable for all global climate conditions and have the "contact protection" function specified in EN 50274.
Adding Auxiliary Contacts
- S00 - sized contactors integrate 1 auxiliary contact (1 NO or 1 NC) in the body.
- S0 - sized contactors integrate 2 auxiliary contacts (1 NO + 1 NC) in the body.
- All - sized contactors can be further equipped with detachable auxiliary contact blocks.
Contact Reliability
- When switching under the condition that the voltage does not exceed 110V or the current does not exceed 100mA, the auxiliary contacts on the 3RT2 contactors or the 3RH2 intermediate relays have extremely high reliability.
- These contacts also meet the requirements for use with solid - state circuits, with a minimum contact current of 1mA at 17V voltage.

- All contactors have models operated by direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC).
Surge Suppression
- 3RT2 contactors can provide four types of surge suppressors: RC (resistance - capacitance absorption), varistors, suppression diodes, and diode combinations (Zener diode and diode combination) for suppressing coil surges.
Note:
Using surge suppressors to suppress coil voltage will cause the opening delay of the contactor's normally open contacts (NO) and the closing delay of the normally closed contacts (NC) (the suppression diode will increase the delay by 6 to 10 times, the diode combination will increase the delay by 2 to 6 times, and the varistor will increase the delay by 2 to 5ms).
