Series Overview
- The HSG1 series is a new - generation double - break isolating switch independently developed by our company. It adopts a double - break, double - arc - extinguishing chamber structure, with high making and breaking capacity; the structure is compact, and the installation and wiring are convenient; it is an upgraded and replacement product for low - voltage load - break isolating switches. The product complies with GB/T14048.3 standard.
Scope of Application
- HSG1 is suitable for AC 50Hz, with a rated insulation voltage of 1000V, a rated working voltage of 400/690V, and a rated current of up to 3200A (products with 1000A and above are mainly used for electrical isolation). It is mainly used in power distribution or motor networks as isolation for infrequent making and breaking of circuits and lines.
Normal Working Conditions
- Ambient air temperature: The upper limit does not exceed + 40°C; the lower limit is not lower than - 5°C; the average temperature within 24h does not exceed + 35°C.
- Altitude: The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 2000m.
- Atmospheric conditions: When the maximum temperature is + 40°C, the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, for example, 90% at 20°C. Special measures should be taken for condensation occasionally generated due to temperature changes.
- Pollution level: Pollution level 3.
- Installation conditions: The basic installation condition for the HSG1 series is vertical installation.
- Installation category: (Overvoltage category) Category IV.
- Service category: Below 1000A: AC - 23A; 1000A - 1600A: AC - 21A; 2000A - 3200A: AC - 21B.
Product Features
- Adopts a double - break, double - arc - extinguishing chamber structure, with high making and breaking capacity and large isolation distance;
- Equipped with a visible window to directly display the contact making and breaking status;
- Spring - energy - storage operating mechanism, no manual force operation, and the moving and static contacts can achieve quick making and breaking;
- Small installation position, convenient and reliable wiring;
- Three - pole, four - pole, in - cabinet operation, and out - of - cabinet operation options are available.
Use and Maintenance
- Before installation, check whether the content of the nameplate meets the use requirements. The switch should be installed vertically, and the horizontal inclination should not exceed 15 degrees;
- After installation, check whether the arrow direction of the operating handle (I or O) is consistent with the closing indication (I or O) of the front observation window of the switch;
- For isolating switches with service category AC - 23, when the incoming and outgoing wires on the switch are bare busbars, insulating materials should be wrapped, and the wrapping length should not be less than 150mm;
- When the switch has broken a large current during use, maintenance and repair should be carried out. After checking that the switch is normal, it can be used continuously.
