Product Introduction
- The new HARMONY® XB5R wireless batteryless button from Schneider Electric enables wireless remote control of relays (receivers) via buttons (transmitters). This control is achieved through wireless signal transmission: A signal generator similar to a "power generator" principle is installed inside the wireless button. This generator can convert the mechanical energy generated when the button is pressed into electrical energy. Through a single pulse form, a wirelessly encoded signal with a unique ID code is sent to one or more receivers dozens of meters away (see Figure 1). It is also possible to use multiple different transmitters to control one receiver (see Figure 2).
- According to the application environment, intermediate antennas can also be used to bypass obstacles that block signal transmission or extend the wireless control distance (see Figure 1 and Figure 2).
- The effective distance (1) between the transmitter and the receiver is approximately:
- 100 M, with no obstacles blocking;
- 25 M, with the receiver installed in a metal building or a closed metal control cabinet;
- 40 M, with an intermediate antenna installed between the transmitter and the receiver (the receiver is installed in a metal building or a closed metal control cabinet).
- This product completely eliminates the wiring and related equipment between the button and the electrical cabinet, greatly reducing installation time and material costs.
- At the same time, this new technology allows operators to control while moving freely, or perform mobile control in transportation equipment (trucks, electric vehicles, forklifts, etc.). Moreover, no maintenance is required (no battery), further saving costs for customers and avoiding environmental pollution caused by used batteries.
- This product is suitable for various application scenarios, including industrial equipment control (production lines, conveyor belts, etc.), building applications, and infrastructure control (lighting, door opening devices, fan start - up devices, etc.).
