Working Principle

The Active Power Filter (APF) collects current signals in real time through an external current transformer. The internal detection circuit separates the harmonic part. Then, it sends advanced PWM signals to the internal IGBT to generate a compensation current with the same magnitude and opposite phase as the harmonics in the system, achieving the function of reducing harmonics.

Performance Features

Strong Filtering Capability and Powerful Functions: The NRAPF harmonic filter can filter out 2nd - 50th order harmonics. Or, it can selectively set the number of harmonic current compensation times and the compensation rate for each harmonic as needed. It can filter out both characteristic harmonics and non - characteristic harmonics. At the rated power, the harmonic current elimination rate can reach 95%. Meanwhile, it has the function of reactive power compensation (inductive or capacitive), improving the three - phase unbalance of the system and ensuring the safe operation of equipment and the system.
Standard Modular Design for Stable Operation: The NRAPF series adopts a modular design, with small size and light weight. No cranes, forklifts or other large - scale equipment are needed during installation, saving time and effort. The rack - mounted design allows for flexible installation, especially suitable for places with small spaces.
Flexible Networking Configuration: There are six capacity modules from 25A to 150A. Any capacity combination can be paralleled, and the single - phase capacity can reach 600A, meeting different capacity requirements. Any module can realize all functions. If any module has a problem, the remaining modules can operate normally to ensure the continuity of the system's safe operation.
