Series Overview

Product Features

● Indication Contacts Contacts mounted within the circuit breaker.

● Changeover Contacts Used for remote control of circuit breaker status information, thus applicable for indication, electrical interlocking, relay control, etc. Complies with IEC 60947-5 international standard.

Functions

● OF (ON/OFF) – Indicates the position of the circuit breaker's main contacts.

● SD (Trip Indication) – Indicates the circuit breaker has tripped due to:
Overload
Short circuit
Undervoltage release operation
"Push to trip" button operation
Opens when the circuit breaker is ON; returns to closed state when the circuit breaker is reset.
● SDE (Fault Indication) – Indicates the circuit breaker has tripped due to:
Overload
Short circuit
Returns to closed state when the circuit breaker is reset.
● CAF/CAO (Pre-closing or Pre-opening Function) – Indicates the rotary handle position. Particularly used for the safety trip device's early opening (pre-opening) or to energize control devices before closing the circuit breaker (pre-closing).

Installation

● OF, SD, and SDE Functions – A single type of contact performs different indication functions depending on its mounting position within the circuit breaker. The contact is fixed in the oblong hole behind the circuit breaker front cover.

● CAF/CAO Function – The contact is mounted within the rotary handle device (direct or extended).

Rotary Handles

There are two types of rotary handles:

Direct Rotary Handle
Extended Rotary Handle

There are two models:

Standard type, black handle

Direct Rotary Handle

Protection class IP40, IK 07
The direct rotary handle features:
Visible trip setting
Suitable for isolation
Indicates O (OFF), I (ON), and Tripped positions
Operable "Push to trip" button
Can lock the circuit breaker in the OFF position with 1 to 3 padlocks (shackle diameter 5-8mm, not supplied). The handle replaces the circuit breaker front cover.

Accessories modify the standard direct rotary handle in the following cases:

● Motor Control Center (MCC) Switchboards:

Door cannot be opened when the circuit breaker is ON (closed).
Circuit breaker cannot be closed when the door is open.
Higher protection class (IP 43, IK 07).
● Machine Tool Control, compliant with CNOMO B03.81.501, IP 54, IK 07.

Extended Rotary Handle

Protection class IP55, IK07. Allows operation of a circuit breaker mounted behind a switchboard panel via a handle on the panel front.
This handle features:
Suitable for isolation
Indicates O (OFF), I (ON), and Tripped positions
Visible trip setting when the switchboard door is open
Can lock the circuit breaker in the OFF position with 1 to 3 padlocks (shackle diameter 5-8mm, not supplied). The door cannot be opened when the circuit breaker is ON (closed) or locked.

Components of the Extended Rotary Handle:

A part replacing the circuit breaker front cover (bolted on).
A device on the door (handle and front plate).
Regardless of whether the circuit breaker is mounted vertically or horizontally, the device is always fixed in the same position – the extension shaft. This shaft must be adjusted for distance. The minimum/maximum distance between the back of the circuit breaker and the door is 218/605mm.

Undervoltage Release

This functional element trips the circuit breaker via an electrical command. The element can consist of a shunt trip coil (MN), an undervoltage release coil (MN), or a delayed undervoltage release coil (MN + delay unit).
● The delay unit is mounted externally to the circuit breaker. The delay can be canceled by using the emergency OFF button to trip the circuit breaker instantaneously.

Remote Operation of Circuit Breaker

● Motor Operator Used for remote control of circuit breaker closing and opening. It consists of a spring charging mechanism coupled with a shunt trip coil and a closing coil.
● Remote operation generally requires:
ON/OFF Indication (OF)
Fault Trip Indication (SDE)

Other Accessories

● Secondary Terminal Cover (CB) An option installed on withdrawable racks. The terminal cover prevents accidental contact with the secondary wiring terminals.
● Operation Counter (CDM) Counts the number of operations and can be read on the front panel. Compatible with both manual and electrical operation functions.
● Door Frame (CDP) Mounted on cabinet doors, providing protection class IP40. Applicable for both fixed and withdrawable versions.
