The TGSCB1 series special protection device for surge protectors (abbreviated as SCB) is used in conjunction with surge protectors (abbreviated as SPD). It is connected in series to the front - end line of the SPD. It can achieve quick disconnection for small industrial - frequency currents and not trip for large lightning strike current impacts. On one hand, it can prevent the SPD from short - circuit failure and fire. On the other hand, it can withstand relatively large lightning strikes, enabling the SPD to continuously play a role in lightning protection for the power line. When the SPD fails, it disconnects the SPD from the power grid, preventing the SPD failure from causing power supply system failures.
